I was using Aspect Vit A serum for a couple of years & felt like a change so I tried the ASAP serum. I love it, I have been using for a month now & my skin feels great. Nice & light & looks better already. I am glad I tried & will continue to use.
It took me a while to get the 'dosage' right for this product as it contains retin A, which can make your skin red, dry and flakey. I find for it to work on my skin without any of the above side-effects I mix a pea size amount with cetaphil moisturiser and apply after cleansing with cetaphil cleanser. In the past I've combined it with other 'active' cleansers and moisturisers, but it's all too much for my skin to deal with. I only use this product in the cooler months when the UV rating during the day isn't so high as this product can make you more sensative to the sun. Having said all this, my skin looks great when I do use it!
I've previously used other cosmeceutical brands and love the vitamin a serums because of its function. My friend recommended me to try this particular brand because it worked really well for her. And I must say, one of my best buys in awhile.
You have to build up your tolerance if you don't use active ingredients. So using it every second night for me worked. I peeled a bit when I started using it which means its working really well. Its been almost 3 weeks and I'm still building tolerance. Which means the active ingredients in there is pure and actually working. Love it!
This is a super strong serum but very effective. I only need to use it once a week as my skin reacts with too much use. When applied my skin is noticeably smoother. Overnight it works at fixing imperfections. A+
I'm up to my 2nd or 3rd bottle, love this product. Saw a difference in my skin tone after using it every second day for a couple of months. Tolerated well as I had been using another vitamin A product for more than a year prior.
