It took about 6 weeks but I have started to see a visible difference with my scarring and pigmentation. I am very happy and will repurchase when it needs to be replaced.
I purchased this to support skin treatments such as Microdermabrasion and Skin Needling from clinics and to better help absorb serums. I have had 3 needling sessions from a clinic (and also recommend this because the improvement on my skin has been great!) but I was also looking for something to top up with and to help with absorption of serums. I use the roller lightly (you don't really have to apply pressure at all- just zoom it across your skin!) for a minute or two for my entire face. It can make your skin dry if you don't apply moisturiser/hydration. I have used this roller 4 times in 3 weeks and feel that it has had a positive effect. I am 27 with normal skin, some redness and bumps around chin, very fine lines around eyes, and one light line in forehead. I think this roller is ideal for these types of issues. Because the needles are short, I don't know how effective the roller would be to combat deep lines/pigmentation etc but for issues like mine, it has been great. After a few weeks of use, the redness and bumps around my chin area are significantly reduced. It also appears to have reduced my pore size (although this wasn't too bad to begin with).
It does hurt a little bit but it is tolerable and it does leave you red (similar to hours in the sun without sunscreen). Do this in the evening so you don't have to go anywhere! I will definitely purchase again and keep this in my skin care routine for years to come. I have recommended to both my mother and sister. It is great in conjunction with SkinStitute products.
I get needling done at a clinic. every 6 to 8 weeks. I use this in between visits. this product does not penetrate the skin as deep the professional ones does but its great for maintaining my skin. I suffered from horrible hormonal acne that left my skin with scars and the difference this has made is unbelievable. highly recommend this.
Not the most comfortable to use but I'm loving it so far! Have been using it for 3 weeks now and have seen a little bit of improvement in my uneven skin, will keep on using it. Definitely recommend for those who cannot afford to go to a salon to get professional skin needling done.
