Retinal is a step closer to retinoic acid than retinol, which means it works faster. Encapsulating it, as this serum does, is what makes that speed tolerable — 0.25% released slowly and consistently rather than all at once.
3% Matrixyl™ 3000 peptide works alongside it, supporting the skin’s natural repair processes and boosting elasticity. Together they visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles overnight while improving firmness and radiance.
If you are wondering about the bright yellow colour: that is retinal’s molecular structure, and it doubles as a stability indicator. A stable formulation holds its yellow; less stable forms darken as they degrade.
PM only. Start twice a week and build to alternate nights. Always use a broad-spectrum SPF in the morning, and do not layer with vitamin C, AHAs or BHAs in the same routine. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Apply 1-2 pumps to clean, dry skin.
Allow the serum to fully absorb for 5 minutes before using your evening moisturiser.
Apply only in the PM.
Start using twice per week and gradually increase frequency to use every other night.
Always use a broad-spectrum SPF in the morning.
Retinoids are not recommended for use by pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.
Do not layer with vitamin C, AHAs, or BHAs in the same routine.
Use these ingredients separately (e.g., vitamin C in the AM).
Avoid combining with oral isotretinoin, as it may over-dry and irritate the skin.
