RY REWARDS — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in the RY Rewards loyalty programme operated by RY.com.au (ABN: 59 618 170 102). By joining RY Rewards, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Programme Overview
RY Rewards is a free tiered loyalty programme available to registered RY.com.au customers. Members earn RY Points on eligible purchases which can be redeemed for dollar-value rewards. Participation in RY Rewards is subject to these Terms & Conditions, which may be updated from time to time at RY's discretion.
2. Eligibility & Enrolment
- RY Rewards is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.
- Membership is free and available to all registered RY.com.au account holders.
- Only one membership account is permitted per person. Duplicate accounts may be merged or cancelled without notice.
- RY Rewards membership is personal and non-transferable.
- RY reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for any account found to be abusing the programme, engaging in fraudulent activity, or breaching these Terms & Conditions.
3. Earning RY Points
- RY Points are earned on eligible purchases made on RY.com.au while logged into your RY Rewards account.
- Points are not earned on purchases made as a guest.
- Points are awarded based on your current membership tier at the time of purchase:

- Points are calculated on the order subtotal, excluding shipping, taxes, and any discounts applied at checkout.
- Points will be credited to your account once your order has been fulfilled and dispatched.
- Points are not earned on purchases of gift cards.
- RY reserves the right to adjust the points earning rate at any time with reasonable notice.
4. Excluded Products & Brands
RY Points cannot be earned or redeemed on purchases of the following brands:
- ghd
- Gama Professional
- La Roche-Posay
- Alya Skin
- American Crew
- Comfort Zone
RY reserves the right to add further excluded brands or products to this list at any time. Where an order contains both eligible and excluded items, points will only be earned and redeemed on the eligible portion of the order.
5. Redeeming RY Points
- RY Points can be redeemed for dollar-value discounts on eligible purchases at RY.com.au.
- Rewards must be claimed and spent within 60 days of the date of claiming. Any unclaimed or unused rewards after this period will expire and cannot be reinstated.
- Rewards cannot be applied to excluded brands (see Section 4).
- Rewards cannot be combined with other promotional codes or discount offers unless explicitly stated by RY.
- Rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or gift cards.
- A minimum order value may apply when redeeming RY Points. This will be communicated at checkout.
- RY Points cannot be transferred between accounts or gifted to another member.
6. Membership Tiers
- Membership tiers are determined by your total eligible spend within a rolling 12-month calendar year (1 January – 31 December).
- Tier status is reviewed and updated at the end of each calendar year based on your spend during that period.
- If your annual spend falls below the threshold for your current tier, your membership will be adjusted to the applicable tier at the next annual review.
- Tier upgrades take effect once your cumulative eligible spend crosses the relevant threshold during the programme year.
- RY reserves the right to modify tier thresholds, benefits, and structure at any time with reasonable notice provided to members.
7. Birthday Reward
- Members who provide a valid date of birth in their RY account will receive a birthday surprise during their birthday month.
- The birthday reward will be communicated via email to the address registered on your account.
- Birthday rewards are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged.
- Only one birthday reward will be issued per member per year.
- RY reserves the right to change the nature of the birthday reward at any time.
8. Free Samples
- Free samples are included with eligible orders across all tiers while stocks last.
- Sample availability is subject to change and RY does not guarantee specific samples with any order.
- Samples are not available for purchase and have no cash value.
9. Returns & Refunds
- If an order for which RY Points were earned is subsequently returned or refunded, the associated points will be deducted from your account.
- If a reward was redeemed on an order that is later returned or refunded, the reward will not be reinstated.
- Partial returns will result in a proportional adjustment to points earned on that order.
10. Account & Points Expiry
- RY Points do not expire while your account remains active and in good standing.
- If your account has had no purchase activity for a period of 24 consecutive months, your accumulated points may expire. RY will endeavour to notify you via email before any expiry occurs.
- RY reserves the right to close inactive accounts after 24 months of inactivity.
11. Changes to the Programme
- RY reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the RY Rewards programme at any time.
- In the event of programme termination, RY will provide members with reasonable notice and a final redemption window where possible.
- Any changes to these Terms & Conditions will be communicated via email and updated on this page. Continued participation in RY Rewards following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Privacy & Third-Party Platforms
- Personal information collected through RY Rewards is handled in accordance with RY's Privacy Policy.
- RY Rewards is powered by Smile.io, a third-party loyalty platform. By joining RY Rewards, you agree that certain account and transaction data (including your name, email address, purchase history, and points balance) will be shared with Smile.io for the purpose of administering the programme. Smile.io's privacy policy can be found at smile.io/privacy.
- RY uses Klaviyo to manage and send RY Rewards programme communications, including points balance updates, tier notifications, birthday rewards, and promotional emails. By joining RY Rewards, you agree that your contact information and programme data may be shared with Klaviyo for this purpose. Klaviyo's privacy policy can be found at klaviyo.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- By participating in RY Rewards, you consent to receiving programme-related communications to your registered email address. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email, however please note that opting out may mean you no longer receive important programme notifications such as points balance updates, reward expiry reminders, and tier changes.
- RY does not sell your personal data to third parties.
13. General
- RY Rewards is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
- RY's decision on all matters relating to the programme, including points disputes and tier eligibility, is final.
- RY is not liable for any loss arising from participation in the RY Rewards programme, including points lost due to account closure, technical error, or programme termination.

14. Points Balance & Programme Communications
- Your RY Points balance is managed through Smile.io and can be viewed by logging into your RY.com.au account.
- RY Rewards programme emails — including points balance updates, reward notifications, tier changes, and birthday rewards — are sent via Klaviyo to your registered email address.
- RY endeavours to ensure your points balance displayed in programme emails is accurate at the time of send, however real-time balances should always be confirmed by logging into your account directly.
- If you believe there is a discrepancy in your points balance, please contact us at help@ry.com.au within 30 days of the relevant transaction. RY will investigate and, where an error is confirmed, correct your balance accordingly.
- RY is not responsible for programme emails that are undelivered, filtered to spam, or not received due to circumstances outside of RY's control.
