I bought this as a night moisturiser for my very oily skin as I wanted something a bit richer for the evenings when I use stronger acids and retinols.
I was completely blown away after the first use, the consistency is like soft butter and I assumed that it would leave my face a big greasy mess, I was wrong! This cream applies smoothly and has a subtle scent which I love (almost like honey) and you only need a small amount (about a 5 cent size) using the spatula that's included in the box.
This works perfectly on top of all my night treatments and absorbs nicely into the skin leaving it almost matte. The next morning my skin is hydrated and smooth. Given the thickness of the cream I was worried about breaking out, and after using it for 2 weeks every night, I can say that it has not caused any breakouts!
I say I use this at night because of its rich texture, but I have no issues using it during the day as well. I really can't say if it's any good at oil control, because I have VERY oily skin and the only thing that has ever controlled my oiliness has been Roaccutane.
I will definitely repurchase this before I run out of my current jar!
