The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Lash and Brow Serum 5ml

I was on the hunt for an eyelash serum that did not contain prostaglandins, as prostaglandins sink into your skin and can dissolve the natural fat around your eye giving you a sunken look (not in a good way), plus can discolour your skin and even your eye iris. The Ordinary Lash Serum doesn’t contain prostaglandins so I thought I'd give it a go. For the price, I wasn’t honestly expecting much but wow, it really works! It comes in a decent sized tube with a wand that has a fine little brush on the end - very easy to swipe along your lash line after your shower each night. Quick and easy, no stinging or fussing around. You can even do your eyebrows too. You must be CONSISTENT as it works with your natural hair cycle so don’t expect to see results for perhaps 4-6 weeks, but it does work! After consistent use, I noticed I had less lash fall out and the new lashes that grew in weeks later were longer and thicker. Even better, once I noticed results, I went to a salon to get a “lash lift and tint” where they perm your natural lashes into a curled shape and dye them dark, and wow my eyes really pop now! It almost looks like I have false lashes on, but not in a tacky way, and I don’t need to use mascara anymore. I used The Ordinary Lash Serum along the lash line then brushed on the Mavala Double Lash serum with its mascara-type brush applicator to the midlengths and ends of my lashes, every night. Mavala Double Lash also contains no prostaglandins and is just mainly proteins and conditioner to look after your lashes and encourage growth. Both products are well priced and really work. Since The Ordinary was the one I was painting on the roots of my lash line, I believe it’s the one that caused the majority of my lash growth and the Mavala Double Lash just supported the growth by keeping my lashes conditioned with protein and moisture. You must be consistent though, and don’t expect results for around 4-6 weeks. Be aware that if you stop using it, your new long and thick lashes will last a few weeks but then will naturally fall out slowly with your lash cycle and the new lashes that grow back in will just go back to how they were before. No damage will be done and you won’t be left with bald patches but you’ll just lose the new thickness and length that you had and your lashes will go back to normal, how they were before you started using the product. I went through this about a year ago with these lash serums and I wish I had’ve just kept up the routine as it’s well worth it in my opinion! Cheap and cheerful, quick and easy, and expect comments on your fluttery new lashes! I recommend this!
