A necessity for city dwellers and sun worshippers, the Resveratrol Serum 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% from The Ordinary is a water-free, high potency antioxidant serum that effectively shields the skin from harmful environmental aggressors that oxidise on the skin, causing lasting damage.
Combining very high concentrations of two of the most potent antioxidants Resveratrol and plant-based Ferulic Acid, the serum delivers anti-ageing benefits, smoothing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and helping the skin defend against harmful factors. As water can impair the stability of any antioxidant, the formula does not contain any water, sillicones, oils or alcohols.

I started using the Ordinary to amp up my skincare in July 2017 and am a convert. My skin was dry, dull with a lot of texture. After 9 months of everyday use of a variety of products my skin has improved, its soft, the texture has gone, it looks healthy and is a great base for makeup. I use this antioxident 2-3 times a week and I love it. I use it as a serum after cleansing and before applying moisturiser, it feels warm on the hands and warm on the skin but pleasant. Its lovely, my face skin definitely looks healthier and brighter since I started using this and I'm just about to repurchase another bottle. I also love the way many of these products from the Ordinary are relatively cheap, they work and they are quite long lasting on my skin.
My skin is more on the sensitive side, but decided to give this ago anyway. The first time I used this product (3-4 drops), it felt really warm on my face for maybe 10-15 seconds, but no other reaction, so I decided to keep using it at the same dosage for a while. I've been using it for 3 or 4 days now, and my skin has broken in tiny rash spots and constantly feel itchy all day. It doesn't seem to itch my face when I use it at night, at least not by the time I wake up. I don't think I will continue using this product and would recommend those with sensitive skin to look for something else, or at least blend it with facial oil.
I love The Ordinary and use several of their products but can't use this one. I broke out in hives with swelling all over my face when using this product. I had to stop using all products to clear the reaction then reintroduce one by one to find what I was reacting to. Unfortunately it was this product. I don't react to any of the other products I use from The Ordinary range. This one isn't for my sensitive skin.
