Brought this item on a whim as I wanted to add some volume to my everyday hair. This roller set is really easy to use. Heats up quickly and you can just put your hair up with out needing to be super neat. I only use on freshly washed hair with a little bit of volume powder or dry shampoo for some extra texture. Not really a fan of the pins which are included, as I prefer the claws to hold rollers in place. But remember when purchasing these rollers won't give you curls - just some added volume similar to a professional blow dry.
Such fantastic fast service and delivery. I found these very easy to use. The velvety grip made them easy to roll and having both types of clip included in the pack was a great bonus. It may be my naturally straight and very long hair, but they didn't really do much for me and any wave I did have in the ends dropped out with in ten minutes. I tried again the next day straight after blow drying and got a better effect but still dropped out very quickly (maybe 15 mins). I am thinking they might be better suited to shorter hair. I don't have a use for them now but was still happy with the quality and amazingly fast service.
Heated rollers are so underrated. I have every hair tool known to man and these are still a favourite staple. Don't think of them as 'curlers' so much as 'volume amplifiers'. Just put them in after you dry your hair and it will smooth it, add volume and shape the ends the way a really great blow-dry can. Just make sure you wait for them to completely cool before taking them out to ensure the style sets. That usually takes about 15mins for me.
