Clarifying Clay Mask deeply cleanses, invigorates and clarifies all skin conditions and effectively helps minimise blemishes and enlarged pores. This deep cleansing optimally prepares the skin for a treatment mask. for all skin conditions, deeply cleanses the skin. softens blackheads, binds sebum. refines pores and blemishes. especially for skin that has pimples. Formulation: Loess clay with nasturtium and witch hazel actively binds with and loosens dirt particles, lifting and drawing them from the skin. Blackheads are softened, skin is soothed and the appearance of redness and blemishes is diminished. For all skin conditions, especially blemished skin prone to inflammation. Also highly recommended to deeply cleanse maturing skin as this aids in cell renewal. TIPS: Remove mask quickly and efficiently with Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Sponge. Apply a Cream Mask (Revitalising, Firming, Soothing, Hydrating) after a Clarifying Clay Mask for both a deep cleanse and a skin boost. Quality: Truly natural and/or organic cosmetics, certified to NATRUE standards. Free from synthetic fragrances, dyes and preservatives. Free from mineral oils, parabens, silicone, phthalates and PEGs. Dermatologically tested for sensitive skin. We do not test on animals. Usage: We recommend preparing the skin first with Clarifying Steam Bath. Use Clarifying Clay Mask once or twice each week. Blend 1-2 heaped teaspoons with an equal amount of water to create a smooth paste. Apply the mask onto the face, neck and décolleté but avoid the eye area. For blemished and oily skin, remove after 5-10 minutes with plenty of warm water. For skin which tends to be dry and sensitive, apply a thinner layer and remove after 3-5 minutes. Once dry the Clarifying Clay Mask is no longer active. The Clarifying Steam Bath may be mixed with the Clarifying Clay Mask instead of using water to intensify skin benefits.

I've always loved clay masks, especially the combination of kaolin & bentonite, and this is one of the best. I have menopausal/hormonal acne and aging skin issues, so I need a mask that addresses the acne, but doesn't overly dry my skin. This is perfect. NOTE: On first use it does draw any existing acne to this surface. However, weekly use clears the acne and refines the texture of acne prone skin beautifully. Quite pricey, but only a thin layer is required. I haven't used any of the other SkinCeuticals products, but I would love to try more of this range.
